I'm Lisa Armella, the artist behind Pretty Divided.

I've always had a creative side, with a background in singing, acting, songwriting, and poetry. I discovered painting later in life, encouraged by my husband, who is also an artist.

I gravitated toward portraiture and developed my stained-glass-inspired watercolor style fairly early on. My paintings combine bold outlines, layered colors, and expressive faces, often exploring the contrast between beauty and darker, more unconventional imagery.

Pretty Divided is an extension of my creativity, expressed through a different medium.
